Founded in 1971, enterpriseSeattle, formerly known as the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County, is an economic development partnership charged with the mission of building a competitive, world-class economy in King County and its 39 cities through the expansion, retention, and recruitment of businesses to the region. Funded through a combination of public and private investment, the organization provides one-on-one, confidential consulting services, free-of-charge, to businesses seeking to establish, expand, or relocate to the area. Sirti is a Washington State economic development agency focused on accelerating the development and growth of innovative technology companies in the Inland Northwest, especially in Eastern Washington. Entrepreneurial technology start-ups and high growth companies can access business coaching and support, tap into the Sirti Technology Growth Fund and SBIR grant assistance, or even locate their companies in our two state-of-the-art mixed use facilities. Sirtis clients have secured more than $200 million in add-on investments and are viewed as some of the most dynamic technology and bio-technology companies in the Inland Northwest.
 
 


The Society for Information Management (SIM) is an organization of over 3600 CIOs, Sr, IT Professional from corporations, government agencies, consultancies, academic instituttions and not for profit organizations. The Seattle SIM chapter has monthly breakfast or dinner meetings where leading IT executives share experiences and solutions to current IT challenges and explore future trends and Best Practices. We also have an annual golf tournament. These meeting provide a great opportunity for networking and professional growth.
 

The Technology Alliance is a statewide organization of leaders from our state's diverse high-tech businesses, research institutions, and the community dedicated to Washington's economic success. We believe this success is dependent upon three drivers: excellent education systems, strong research capacity, and a robust entrepreneurial environment. Through programs, events, research studies, and policy activities, the TA works to mobilize support for these drivers in order to grow and sustain a vibrant technology-based economy benefiting all of Washington's citizens. Signature programs include the Alliance of Angels (www.allianceofangels.com) early stage investment group and the Science & Technology Discovery speaker series.
 
 


The WBBA is a not-for-profit association of Washington state biotechnology and biomedical companies, research firms and related organizations. The biotechnology organizations use living organisms and biological research to develop medical, environmental and agricultural products. Biomedical firms develop and manufacture diagnostic and electronic devices or components for use by medical researchers and health care providers. Our member companies are developing some of the worlds most sophisticated health care tools. WBBA member organizations are dedicated to providing better health to people everywhere through innovative and cost-effective use of science.
 
 


Washington Technology Center is a statewide economic development organization focused on technology and innovation. We channel state, federal, and private resources to help companies develop and commercialize new products and technologies. Our programs provide companies with R&D funding and support, access to investors, and resources supporting rapid growth. Our 15,000-square-foot Microfabrication Laboratory provides companies with facilities and specialized equipment for industrial research and development of micro and nano technologies. The impact of Washington Technology Centers work has generated more than $500 million in additional investment for Washington companies and researchers.

Woods Creek Consulting Company is a regional consulting group that specializes in organizational effectiveness services for early to mid- stage companies. Building on our belief that the best learning is with peers in an enriched and professionally managed learning team, we have helped charter several groups of peer leaders including the Technology Executives Peer Group (TXPEG) for CIOs and CTOs. These groups meet monthly (by invitation only) to study current, critical issues.
