Tom Berquist has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked at BECU since 1994. In his role as Senior Vice President of Member Strategies he leads BECU's marketing, product development, community affairs, and strategic planning efforts. Prior to joining BECU, he started his career in financial services with Bank of America.
Tom currently serves on the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together South Sound and is a trustee of the Washington Credit Union Foundation. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington and is currently working on his MBA at Seattle University.

Tim Besse is co-founder and vice president of product and marketing of Glassdoor.com. Previously, Tim was the director of product management and online marketing the Asia Pacific division of Expedia. In this role, Tim developed new markets in Australia, Japan, and China, and assumed general management responsibility of the Hotels.com business in Asia. In other Expedia roles Tim helped launch other early stage businesses, including Expedia's telesales and private label businesses as well as its online luxury offering, Classic Custom Vacations. Todd Bishop, Co-founder & Managing Editor, TechFlash
TODD BISHOP is co-founder and managing editor of TechFlash. He is responsible for editorial strategy, quality and innovation, and he works with the executive editor to develop editorial features. Bishop has covered Microsoft and the technology industry for more than five years in Seattle, most recently as a reporter for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He launched his blog about Microsoft in September 2003, building it into a widely used resource for tracking the software giant. In February 2008, Bishop was the first to publish internal Microsoft e-mails in which company executives privately criticized the Windows Vista operating system, even as they publicly praised it. His coverage of Bill Gates’ departure from daily life at the company was published by papers including the New York Post. His blog has received honors including a 2008 Best in Business Award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. Bishop covered commercial real estate at the Puget Sound Business Journal from 2000 to 2002. He grew up in Orland, Calif., and got his start in journalism covering sports for his high-school paper. He graduated from California State University, Chico, with a double-major in journalism and business administration.

Blake Cahill is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Visible Technologies. He is responsible for executing marketing strategies, thought leadership, and analyst relations to increase market and customer awareness for revenue growth. Prior to joining the company, Blake was the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, a Seattle based web-services firm, where he successfully reignited customer acquisition and retention programs, oversaw the launch of a new brand identity and significantly raised the profile of the firm with the analyst and media communities. Blake has more than 16 years of executive management experiences leading marketing, sales, product management, and customer support
organizations both domestically and internationally in a variety of technology, consumer, and telecommunications companies such as AT&T, Belgacom, Qwest, SBC, and ServiceMaster.com. Through these diverse experiences Blake has witnessed the intersection that drives businesses and their results are uniquely conjoined to “listening to the customer” and he has developed some insights about the intersections of customer experience, brands, and technology. A marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience in media, Amy Dalton's career spans book, newspaper, magazine, and Internet publishing. She came to Topix from Knight Ridder Digital, where she directed marketing and advertising efforts for the company's 32 newspaper web sites and its national vertical properties, including CareerBuilder.com, Cars.com, Apartments.com, ShopLocal.com, and the Real Cities Network. Previously, she managed public relations for PC World magazine and its web site PCWorld.com, and held several marketing and publicity roles at book publisher HarperSanFrancisco. A native Californian, Amy graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in American Studies.

Ralph Fascitelli has over thirty years of branding and strategic marketing experience and began his career in the Procter and Gamble brand marketing program. He has worked for ad agencies and corporations big and small including Heinz, Thomson and JWT and for twelve years ran Imagio Advertising and Public Relations which was twice ranked by INC magazine as the fastest growing agency in the Western United States. Dave Hanley, Principal, Banyan Branch
Dave Hanley has worked in web marketing for several years, specializing in creating and marketing massively viral social applications. As VP of Marketing, Dave oversaw marketing and advertising sales at Shelfari, the largest social network for book readers, which he grew from 15,000 members to over 1.5 million in one year with no advertising. He worked in web media for over five years, most recently as director of product management at RealNetworks where he oversaw product management for Rhapsody.com and Rhapsody’s web services program. Dave spent his five years before business school working in economic development with NGOs and banks in Asia and Latin America that were implementing and assessing microcredit programs, including time as a Fulbright scholar with Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. Dave has an MBA from Stanford University and Bachelors and Masters degrees in Public Policy from Brigham Young University.

Anna Liotta, President, CEO, Resultance Inc.
Liotta is president and CEO for Resultance Inc., a consulting firm that helps companies respond effectively to present and future generational forces in the workplace. As one of 19 children, Liotta grew up in a household of four generations. Anna has worked with a number of local and international companies including Intel, Office Max, Honda, Safeco, Toyota, Shell Oil, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, SBA, Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and AFLAC. Her interdisciplinary approach applies crucial elements of communication, sociology, business and psychology to the problems facing companies today.
Liotta is an award-winning speaker who has presented at the International Rotary Conference, Best of Organizational Development Summit, Institute for the Development of Educational Activities, eWomen Networks and The Idea Conference, where she was ranked at first place among 400 of her peers. Blake Park, Vice-President, Group Director of Strategy & Insights, Wunderman Seattle
Blake Park is VP-Group Director of Strategy & Insights at Wunderman, where he leads strategy for the agency’s Microsoft Commercial clients globally. Blake is an expert on branding, catalyzing innovation, and applying emerging media to engage customers and prospects in compelling ways. He has developed marketing for companies such as Getty Images, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Publishing, and several startup Internet and software firms. Blake also founded a marketing agency, Nimble Strategies, and a national, award-winning magazine for the University of Southern California.

Vijay Rao, VP, Director of Open Planning, Optimedia
A relative ‘veteran’ of the wireless category, Vijay has spent the last five years of his career helping drive T-Mobile’s explosive growth from an also ran to the fastest growing operator in North America. Highlights of that experience include planning T-Mobile’s 2003 US launch and stewarding their inaugural Television Upfront. More recently, Vijay ran T-Mobile’s Youth segment, a role that saw him develop a number of cutting edge and industry leading digital initiatives, including his client’s first forays into the gaming space. He also heads up T-Mobile’s NBA Sponsorship.
Currently, Vijay’s primary focus is in Communications Planning; a consumer-centric, platform agnostic approach to media that’s at the center of Optimedia’s DNA. An integral part of the Strategic Leadership Team, he’s working on an agency-wide initiative to integrate Open Planning across all of Optimedia’s client roster. A native of London, Vijay holds a degree in Television, Radio and Film from Texas Christian University, where he graduated Magna *** Laude.
Julie Rezek, Vice-President, Global Client Services Director, Wunderman Seattle
Julie Rezek is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years experience developing and managing consumer and B2B programs. In her current role as VP-Global Client Services Director at Wunderman Seattle, she is responsible for the multi-million Microsoft Commercial account worldwide. Her work spans relationship marketing programs for key Microsoft brands and business groups such as Office, Server, Developer, Dynamics, Public Sector, SMB, Mid-Market, and Mobile. Conrad runs marketing for Avvo, where he oversees the firm's SEM, SEO, social media, online marketing, public relations, email and web analytics initiatives. Avvo grew from concept to the most trafficked legal directory in the world in two years without spending a dollar on advertising.
Prior to Avvo, Mr. Saam ran business development for interactive agencies. He worked with major consumer brands, assisting them to adapt their online marketing strategies to meet the changing market, technology, and regulatory environments of the internet. His experience includes numerous awarding-winning interactive projects for clients including Disney, Nickelodeon, Lego, MTV, Ford, Macromedia, the United Nations, Microsoft, AOL, McDonalds, Mattel and Napster.

Mike Spear, Jones Soda
Mike Spear has been at Jones Soda Co. for 7 years. He currently serves as Brand Manager of Digital Sales and Marketing including Jones’ customized label program, myJones. Mike also manages Jones’ websites and is the voice of Jones’ Social Media presence. Prior to that, Mike was the Brand Manager for several Jones’ products in the Natural Foods channel. Mike holds a BA in Journalism and Communication from the University of Oregon and lives in Belltown.
Ben Straley, CEO, Meteor Solutions
Ben has spent the last 13 years of his career managing and leading marketing teams and business for venture-backed startups and large, publicly traded companies. As CEO of Meteor Solutions, he manages the company and secures key partnerships. Currently their clients include Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, Sony Pictures, Disney and many other high-profile brands. Ben began his online marketing career in 1997 as a producer for Starwave, where he worked on online advertising and marketing promotions on ESPN.com and ABCNews.com for major brands including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Gatorade, and Pizza Hut. In 1998, Ben moved from the creative services team to spearhead the development of ESPN.com’s online marketing and e-commerce systems and lead product management of Go Network’s registration and billing web services platform. In 2001, Ben joined Santa Clara-based Sanctum Corporation to oversee Product Marketing of AppScan, the company’s leading suite of Web application security assessment and monitoring tools. In the spring of 2003, Ben was recruited to lead eCommerce and Internet Business Development for a $1.3B global kitchen and housewares company. In this role, Ben led a 20-person ecommerce team, oversaw B2B and B2C ecommerce operations and fulfillment, coordinated the expansion of the company’s online presence and ecommerce operations in the UK and Australia, and signed partnerships with Amazon and Target. In the summer of 2005, Ben returned to his native Seattle to lead marketing for Ignition-backed Judy’s Book, a site where community members around the country shared advice and recommendations about local businesses and activities.
Ben holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a BA with distinction from Colorado College, is the curriculum developer and lead instructor at the UW Extension’s Advanced Interactive Marketing program, and is Chair-elect of the Board of Trustees at the Seattle Children’s Home, Washington State’s oldest children’s charity.
Ian Tolmie, VP of Digital Operations, Cenveo Corporation.
Being a 19 year veteran of the pre-media and printing industries, Ian Tolmie has had the opportunity to reinvent himself numerous times. In his current position Ian is responsible for developing the business strategy for Cenveo Corporation’s eCommerce and variable data print national platform. Also working on the operations side of the business, Ian is responsible for building the national platform and developing the workflows that support this new business for Cenveo.
Prior to his current position at Cenveo Ian acted as Sales Manager for Cenveo Seattle and then as General Manager of Cenveo’s eCommerce, direct mail and variable data print division, Cenveo Direct. Raised in North Carolina, Ian holds a BS in Graphic Communications and a Master in Aeronautical Science. A degree he still hasn’t figured out how to use in the pre-media and print world. Ian lives in West Seattle with his wife, Jennifer, and 16 month old son, Dane.
