    Value-Driven Product Requirements Workshop

Are your Market Requirements Documents (MRD's) value driven? Are you effectively communicating your customer and user needs to your development organization? Do you dread writing MRD's for your product or updates? Are you even sure what should be in an MRD and to what detail? And what's the difference between an MRD and PRD?

Delivering value means fulfilling user needs. This two-day workshop focuses on connecting user needs and goals to the system requirements through iterative and increasing levels of detail, as required for your organization (whether it's an MRD or PRD). The main thrust of the course is on software requirements, but the principles learned are applicable across any product that has real users as the primary design target. You will learn how to abstract the user needs and goals and appropriately bound the solution requirements such that your development team understands the WHY, WHO, and WHAT for the goal. This enables them to creatively and effectively provide the HOW to satisfy the user needs. Fee: $1,595 (10% discount for PMC members, 50% discount for a co-worker or friend, register by Jan 7 for a 10% early registration discount.)
