The goal of this two-day conference is to provide an opportunity for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and exporters of commodities and technologies controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to:
-
obtain basic knowledge about the ITAR and EAR and pose questions to U.S. government officials with cognizance over them;
-
discuss the latest legal updates and best practices in export compliance;
-
hear from industry about specific topics dealing with export controls;
-
discover, through actual case examples, why these export controls are so important and how our adversaries attempt to violate them;
-
network with colleagues facing the same export control challenges you are facing.
