The time has arrived for the seventh monthly City Business Casual, brought to you by the Office of Economic Development and the City of Seattle! More than 150 people attended City Business Casual in May and June, and the July event is revving up to be an event to remember. Join Seattle’s Office of Economic Development, Director of Seattle Department of Transportation Peter Hahn, and Seattle City Attorney Peter Holmes on Thursday, July 29th at Polar Bar (700 3rd Ave.) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a summer evening of mingling and conversation.

City Business Casual is a monthly, informal gathering that provides the Seattle business community with direct access to business-focused city officials, including influential city leaders and key department heads and representatives.

No pre-registration for City Business Casual is necessary. The sessions do not include a formal program, but Office of Economic Development staff will actively make introductions and connections. Business owners and advocates will also have a chance to ask questions, suggest ideas, and troubleshoot specific issues in an informal and relaxed setting.

In 2010, close collaboration and information exchange will be essential for Seattle businesses to rebuild and grow. City Business Casual is a great new way to facilitate growth in Seattle’s thriving local business community.
